Next-day delivery available

Booking & Delivery

Getting a bin to your job, fast.

How quickly can I get a skip bin delivered?

We aim for next-day delivery across greater Adelaide. Same-day delivery is often possible depending on where our drivers already are that day.

Give us a call or text and we'll work out the fastest option for your location. If you're close to another job we're running that day, we can usually squeeze you in.

Can I book a bin over the phone or by text?

Absolutely โ€” call or text 0461 356 492 anytime. Texting is actually our preferred way. Send a photo of the job and we'll sort the right bin size and confirm delivery.

You can also book online if that's easier.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

No โ€” as long as we've confirmed where you'd like the bin placed and you've made sure the driver has clear access, you don't need to be home. Just leave any specific instructions when you book.

How long is bin hire included for?

Standard bin hire covers a reasonable window for your job. If you need it longer, just give us a heads up.

For our builder account holders and regular clients, there's no time limit at the same price โ€” keep the bin as long as your project needs.

What if I need the bin for longer than expected?

Just call or text us โ€” we'll extend the hire. There's no penalty for keeping it longer, and account holders don't pay extra.

What areas do you service?

We service all of greater Adelaide from our Lonsdale depot โ€” north, south, hills, coast and CBD.

Suburbs include: Adelaide CBD, Lonsdale, Glenelg, Marion, Mitcham, Norwood, Unley, Prospect, Salisbury, Tea Tree Gully, Burnside, Port Adelaide, Hallett Cove, Happy Valley, Aberfoyle Park, Christie Downs, Port Noarlunga, Maslin Beach, Warradale, Oaklands Park and everywhere in between.

Not sure if we cover you? Just give us a call.

Bin Placement

Where the bin goes and how to protect your property.

Where can the bin be placed?

Bins should be placed on your property โ€” driveways, front yards, or side access are all fine, as long as we can safely get the truck in and out.

Confirm the exact placement spot with us beforehand so we don't waste a trip. If you want it on the street, you'll need a council permit โ€” chat to us before booking.

Will the bin damage my driveway?

Our bins are steel and can be heavy, especially when full. On soft, decorative or delicate surfaces there's always some risk of marking, rust staining, or slight indentation.

If you're concerned about your driveway, we strongly recommend laying down some plastic sheeting or timber before we deliver. Without that protection, any damage is at your own risk.

Not sure? Text us a photo of where you want it placed and we'll advise.

Can I move the bin once it's delivered?

Please don't move the bin yourself, especially not with excavators, bobcats or other machinery. Bins are more delicate than they look and get damaged easily.

Any damage from customer moving becomes your responsibility. If the bin ends up somewhere our truck can't reach, there'll be additional retrieval costs.

Need it moved? Give us a call and we'll sort it.

Waste Types & What Goes In

Choosing the right bin for your load.

Which waste type should I choose?

Match the bin to your main waste type:

Not sure? Just text us a photo of the job on 0461 356 492 and we'll pick the right one.

How much can I put in the bin?

Fill the bin up to (but not above) the rim. Anything higher is unsafe for transport and can't be moved.

Please don't compact or compress the waste โ€” no jumping in, no bobcats squishing loads down. It damages the bins and creates safety risks.

Prohibited items (asbestos, chemicals, gas bottles, tyres, food waste, batteries, liquids) can't go in any bin โ€” see the specific waste type page for full lists.

What happens if I overload the skip?

If a bin is loaded above the rim on collection day, our drivers may need to remove excess waste to make the load safe to transport.

If we can't legally take it away, we'll deliver an additional bin at your cost, or an overload fee of up to $75 may apply.

To avoid this, just fill to the rim and don't compact โ€” or book a bigger bin.

What if I put the wrong waste in?

If you've ordered one waste type but the load contains a different type (e.g. general waste in a concrete/masonry bin, or bricks in a household bin), the price will change to reflect the actual waste type. There may also be additional processing fees.

Not sure what your load counts as? Text us a photo before we collect and we'll let you know.

Do you accept asbestos?

No โ€” asbestos is prohibited in all our bins. Asbestos requires specialised handling and disposal by a licensed removalist.

If you suspect asbestos on your site (common in pre-1990 builds), please have it assessed and removed separately before we deliver.

What can't go in any bin?

Prohibited items across all waste types:

  • Asbestos
  • Chemicals or hazardous waste
  • Paint, oils, liquids
  • Gas bottles
  • Batteries
  • Tyres (extras charge if we take them โ€” $50 each)
  • Food waste
  • Medical or biological waste

Pricing & Payment

Fixed pricing, no weight limits, no surprises.

Are there weight limits?

No weight limits โ€” ever. Load your bin to the rim with the correct waste type and the price we quoted is the price you pay. No surprise charges at pickup.

Note: if the load contains a different waste type than what was booked, the price changes to match.

How do I pay?

Once your booking is confirmed, we send you a secure payment link by text or email. You can pay via:

  • Secure card payment link (Apple Pay, credit/debit card)
  • Cash โ€” just let our drivers know at delivery
  • Bank transfer (BSB/account details on invoice)
  • 30-day account terms for approved builder accounts โ€” see Builders & Trades
Can I get a quote before booking?

Yes โ€” pricing is transparent and on our website for standard sizes. For anything unusual, text us a photo of the job on 0461 356 492 or contact us and we'll quote same-day.

Are there any extras I should know about?

Prices are all-inclusive with two exceptions:

  • Mattress disposal: $95 each (mattresses are charged separately by transfer stations)
  • Tyre disposal: $50 each

Everything else โ€” delivery, hire, pickup โ€” is included in the quoted price.

Builders & Trade Accounts

30-day terms, priority swaps, and no fuss.

Do you offer trade or builder accounts?

Yes โ€” 30-day account terms, priority swaps, and account billing. Whether it's a single reno or fifteen sites running at once, we make repeat work simple.

See the Builders page for full details and to apply.

Do you charge builders per square metre?

No โ€” our pricing is per bin, not per square metre. Fixed price for the bin size and waste type, regardless of what job it's for.

Can I set up repeat swap-overs for ongoing sites?

Yes. This is our bread and butter โ€” regular swap scheduling for builders running renos, demo, or staged jobs. You call/text when you want the swap, and we're there next day.

Can I pre-book bins for future jobs?

Absolutely. If you've locked in a reno for next month, book the bins now and we'll schedule around your job. Account holders get priority scheduling.

How long can builders keep a bin on-site?

For account holders and regular clients โ€” no time limit at the same price. Keep the bin as long as your project needs it.

Can I text photos when booking multiple bins?

Yes โ€” this is our preferred way. Send us photos of the site, we'll confirm bin size, delivery timing, and lock it in.

Why D&C

What makes us different.

Why should I book with D&C over another skip bin company?

Three big reasons Adelaide builders and homeowners choose us:

  • Fixed price with no weight limits โ€” the price we quote is the price you pay, even if you fill it to the rim
  • Real people, not call centres โ€” you'll talk to the same team every booking
  • We know building sites โ€” tight access, staged renos, repeat swaps, we've done it all

We're family-owned, Adelaide-based, and EPA licensed at our Lonsdale sorting facility.

What makes you different from bigger skip bin operators?

The big ones charge extra when the bin is over a certain weight. We don't โ€” no weight limits, ever. What we quote is what you pay.

We also actually answer the phone. No hold music, no call centres, no runaround.

Are you Adelaide-based?

Yes โ€” family-owned Adelaide business operating out of an EPA-licensed sorting facility at 11/41-47 O'Sullivan Beach Road, Lonsdale SA 5160.

Locally owned, locally run, servicing the whole metro area.

What does EPA licensed mean for me?

It means your waste is disposed of responsibly. We sort what we collect at our own facility to maximise recycling and minimise landfill โ€” important for environmentally-conscious clients, and required for many commercial and government contracts.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes โ€” full public liability insurance and all required licensing. Certificates and compliance documentation are available on request for civil, commercial, government or corporate clients. Contact us for our credentials pack.

Still got questions?

Text or call us โ€” we're actual people, we'll actually answer.
